Water cooling is a method
used to lower the temperature of various machinery, and sometimes
other components using water rather than air as the cooling medium.
Machinery speeds have increased dramatically in recent years. As a
result, the heat given off by different machine parts has increased,
as has the noise associated with equipments such as fans, used to
keep them running at a safe temperature.
Water can
conduct heat about 30 times faster than air; thus a water cooling
system allows the machines to run at higher speed while drastically
